All frames are quality New Zealand-made plastic Ecrotec Beetek frames or NZ Pine Wooden Frames with plastic foundation in an adequately ventilated Ecrotek corflute nuc box (best corflute nuc box on the market).  If you’re lucky enough to get your 5 frame nuc at the start of the season there’s a chance you’ll get your first jar of honey by the end of the season pending adequate nectar flow(s) but please be well aware it takes a lot of bees and good nectar flows to get foundation drawn should you not have the luxury of having drawn comb already. Should you miss the start of the season I strongly suggest opting for the 7 frame Nuc Option.
